Scrapping Retreat Results
I'm BACK!!!
Got back yesterday afternoon from a much needed vacation. 4 days, 3 nights scrapbooking retreat. Stay in your jammies all day if you want to, eat too much, cut, tear, bend and glue paper all you want. :) to say the least, I had fun. Looking forward to the fall retreat already.

Leaving for a much needed retreat
This is how my morning starts. Don't you just love God and the wonderful things he made for us to enjoy. I haven't done any layouts the last 2 days since I've been trying to pack for my retreat weekend but, I did make 2 cards....unfortunately I mailed them and didn't take a picture first. I'll try to remember next time. God is good....ALL the time!!!!

♠ Final Layout
This is a layout using the Veranda Paper Pack (X7119B) from Close To My Heart. The large center, on the one page is quilted as well as the upper right corner of the other page. The Hummingbird was cut out, glitter was sprinkled on it, and then it was mounted on Juniper paper before re-attaching in the same spot is was cut from. Just pops it a little bit. The other hummer was stamped and the layout was rearranged after I took the picture. I also stamped a vine and flowers with So Sweet (C1389) stamp set, cut a slit around the flowers so that the matt would fit under the flowers. This is the final layout :)

This is a layout I just finished for a friend who is having a baby boy. Used Close To My Heart Topstitch Paper, with Heavenly Blue, Chocolate, Vineyard Berry Cardstock and Baby Steps D1266 Stamp Set. You can just barely see it but on the Chocolate strip across the top of the one layout is a clothes line full of baby clothes that is heat embossed. Also the center of the top layout is quilted but, it was kindof a wasted effort on this paper (LOL) you can't hardly tell on the original much less the picture.
